We've had our bedroom soundproofed by Mute (amplified music, slamming doors and stairs from next door) and have yet to test the results but the experience with Oliver and his guys was second to none. Oliver was great, listened properly to our concerns and was realistic about the kind of results we should expect, he was understanding about my sensitive ears, and totally professional throughout. Our flat is located in a noisy yard full of restaurant’s extraction systems, which bring loud low frequency noise, notoriously hard to get rid of. When we installed an acoustic secondary glazing, it didn't give us a desirable effect, as the ceiling and walls turned out to be weak spots in the flat, continuing to let through the low frequency.
Mute acoustics helped immensely by soundproofing our ceiling (which is right under the flat roof) and parts of the walls, which made a significant improvement, and the secondary glazing itself works fine now alongside this improvement.

We live next to a busy road, so noise in our top floor extension from vehicles and planes was affecting our sleep. Mute Soundproofing installed soundproofing to the walls and ceiling, plus acoustic secondary windows. This has made an enormous difference, so that now we can barely hear noise from outside.
