A refurbishment can be as simple as removing the rust, giving it rust protection, a fresh coat of prime and a final coat to suit your requirements. Or it can require a more detailed overhaul including ultrasonic Non-Destructive Testing to ensure safety, internal cleaning and then painting to customer specifications.

We use a range of cleaning processes to remove unwanted substances from your tank and our team carries out a full review and analysis before taking action, ensuring you’ll have a full risk assessment and method statement and only pay for the most cost-effective cleaning option. 
At some point, your commercial Fuel Oil tank will reach the end of its useful, environmentally safe life. In some cases this will be because it is no longer structurally safe, or it could be because you have chosen to replace the heating systems for which it is providing oil with something more environmentally friendly. In both cases you will need to decommission the tank safely or remove it altogether. 
Fuel Polishing begins by sampling the fuel at various depths in the tank. This is because different contaminants appear at different depths due to their varying densities. For the most part, the higher up in the tank that you detect contaminants, the more likely it is that you will also require a tank cleaning service.
