Shires responded quickly to our request for a quotation and visited our home to perform a thorough inspection of the work involved within a few days of our first telephone call. They were friendly and helpful from our first conversation. It was necessary to re-arrange our moving date, but Shires made it very clear that this could be done as long as we knew our deadline for doing so.

The team that carried out our job were brilliant! Friendly, careful with our belongings, efficient, and double-checked if in any doubt. All details and procedures were carefully explained to us throughout the process. When the time came to deliver our belongings from storage, Shires were nice again, very accommodating. Some removals firms only perform an evaluation of the job by means of a video call. Shires did a thorough hone visit which is crucial to getting the job right.

Nothing was damaged in transit. Everything was delivered with care. The price for the work was very fair considering we were moving a decent distance. I would have complete confidence in using Shires again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a move. The office team are ALL very helpful and well informed. The removals team that we met were total diamonds. Keep them supplied in tea and a bacon butty and they will look after you! Thanks a million guys and girls.

Shires did our house move and we would like to say they were absolutely brilliant Brent and Ben were fantastic, they are a real asset to Shire's. Das and Richard arrived in the snow this morning and moved us down three flights of stairs out of our flat and into our forever home. They were the professional, speedy and personable and one of the better quotes we received too. Make sure you have coffee in. I don't know how these guys do it, make it look like a king size mattress is a cloud. Thanks guys! Would 100% recommend and use again. Hopefully no snow!

We moved from Yorkshire to Norfolk with Shires. I would like to praise all the removers, for their professionalism and skill but especially their patience in the very difficult situation we found ourselves in, where we struggled to get the vendor to leave the premises in time for them to unload and then get back to Kinsley. they did it- but on no lunch or break. Good work.

Seamless and professional service from start to finish. All the staff in the office are very helpful and friendly when arranging the booking and then on the day 2 x man team (Marc & Ryan) arrived promptly and immediately set about clearing our old home. Very polite throughout the whole day. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Could not use the initial quote from because my Mum fell ill. But two years later I returned to them because of the competitive price and comprehensive service. They packed, moved and stored. Everything was done with professional, courtesy and kindness. From the initial home visit by Darren to the patience of the office staff whilst the exchange and completion dates were finally agreed upon to loading and unloading of the spotless wagon by Matt, Pete and Leon the service was professional, faultless and full of humour. We cannot praise them highly enough for making the process simple and at a very competitive cost.

This firm managed and sorted my removal with ease. Brilliantly organised from the office to our home. The two guys Dean and Ash were marvellous they worked as a great team and with loads of patience and stamina. They didn't rush us, talked us through everything. We had to move 2 homes and a business to a location 3 hours away. Everyone we dealt with at Shires was courteous and helpful at all times. From Steve the estimator, Polly in the office through to the lifters and shifters, Pete, Leon, Tyler and Wayne. We agreed what they were going to do. and they did it! During the removal itself (a 3-day job) the men worked really hard.

They were careful and could be trusted to get on with the job without permanent supervision - leaving us free to unpack and put away. Shires were personally recommended to us, and I can see why.

I cannot praise this firm enough. If I could GIVE 100 I would. Right from the moment my husband made the initial enquiry it felt positive. The Lady that answered our queries was so helpful and very positive that we felt reassured immediately. Having had a very bad experience the last time we moved when we lost many of our possessions we were very wary.

When the man came out to assess our criteria he explained everything to us and left no questions unanswered. On the day of the packing the two men arrived on time and were so professional. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt guilty watching them running aroung and doing all the work. They never stopped all day and we had so much Stuff. The following day they were punctual and had their work cut out to enable us to be out of our property for the deadline of 12 noon.

They ran up and down the stairs, clearing the very full loft and loft cupboards and still remained friendly and helpful. When we arrived at our new home 60 miles away they were already there waiting for us. The rest of the day they spent putting boxes into the correct rooms. The firm we had some years ago just dumped things in every room and in the bath and didn't even write the rooms on the boxes.

They were a nightmare. The Shires men even hung clothes in the waderobes for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When we unpacked(which took exactly 8 days) we found items easily and nothing was damaged or missing. All in all this firm by todays standards of couldn't care REALLY DO CARE. The dreaded removal day was a good experience. Whatever the two men are paid for all their work could never be enough in my opinion. WELL DONE.
