Atlantic Shopping is the online trading name of V.N & Britannic Warehouse Ltd., a well-established family-run business supplying an excellent range of home and commercial furniture. Based in the heart of Birmingham's City Centre, our warehouses have a huge stock base, which enables us to offer free next day delivery to UK Mainland, setting us apart from our competitors.
We began in the 1960s, with two brothers running a market stall in the West Midlands. Today, Atlantic Shopping, trading name V.N Britannic Warehouse Ltd, is the number one retailer of bar stools in the UK. We're still run by the same family, but on a much larger scale. Atlantic Shopping started life as a family-run market stall in Smethwick, a small town in Birmingham whose market has been running since the 1920s.
We offer FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY to Mainland UK customers, using DPD's groundbreaking 15-minute "Follow My Parcel" service, where customers receive an EMAIL & TEXT on the morning of delivery with a 1 HOUR expected delivery slot. As the driver makes their way to you, this becomes a 15-MINUTE time slot.

Buyer beware - the return charges area hidden in the section about faulty goods ( did'nt need to read this as I already know my rights ) and not in the ordinary returns section. It is £10 per box on items delivered ( non negotiable ) and you don't know how many boxes your items are coming in until they arrive. Had I known how much it was going to cost to return I would never have bought from them in the first place. Return charges should be upfront and transparent at the outset. Not happy.

I was dubious buying from Atlantic as their name was unknown to me. After reading customer reviews I decided to go ahead and was not disappointed. Four stools shortly arrived in two boxes, well packed, quick and easy to assemble.
I was considering stools from Costco amongst other retailers, including expensive Italian designers, however, I am glad I decided to purchase from Atlantic, who have delivered a quality product at a very good price.

I ordered 2 bar stools and waited about 6 weeks for delivery. Upon delivery parts were damaged and I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The arms in particular were very poor with a flimsy piece of material sewn over. It just slid off the arms.
They agreed to send replacement parts and these came quickly and were fine. So we decided to keep them and live with the awful arms.
Once we started to build them we encountered more problems. They are cheap and made in China, so the quality is very poor. The welds on the brackets for the arms were all squint so no matter what we did, the arms

I was so pleased to have been recommended this company for bar stools. Was very easy to order. These stools are very comfortable and came at a great price. They were easy to put together. Fantastic delivery I ordered Ona Friday evening and they arrived on Sunday. All in all a great company and product. Will be back.
