KHL provides gas warm air and central heating installation, servicing and repairs for many makes including eg. Johnson & Starley, WB, Balmforth, Lennox, Thorn, Halstead and gas fires. Johnson & Starley warm air central heating includes the Warm Air range of high Efficiency A band units the Quantec HR28C combination A band boiler with Aquair heat exchange units.

Kent Heating are very proud partners to Johnson & Starley and Worcester Bosch accredited installers with all our installers and service technicians gas safe registered. As WB accredited installers we install all types of systems including combi systems, conventional, solar thermal, unvented hot water.

KHL installs all types of Worcester Bosch gas boilers to suit every household requirement to achieve to lowest running costs as possible as gas and electricity prices continue to rise from terraced houses to flats and large detached properties. The most popular system is the combination boiler unit which provides heating and instant hot water with no need for stored water tanks in the loft or a cylinder in the airing cupboard.
It is important that all Warm Air heating systems especially open flued models are regularly serviced to maintain safe operation and efficiency. The service plans provided by Kent Heating Ltd include an annual service and we will contact you when your appliance is due for a service.
Since the arrival of the Aquair unit, KHL has been very busy installing these units as a replacement for gas Warm Air. They can be installed as a stand alone unit, cupboard and slot fix installations and loft which basically covers all types of warm air replacement. The units come in 3 outputs - 10, 16 and 20 kW versions for small medium and large houses.
Kent Heating Ltd are Halstead GWA46 replacement specialists. Our team of highly qualified technicians can convert existing Halstead boiler systems to comply with new building regulations and efficiency standards.
Aquair is a water to air heat exchange unit with a heat output of 10, 16 and 20kW (assuming a hot water supply of 80C is available). It is supplied as a downflow unit. Modulating control is incorporated. A wire mesh filter is fitted as standard, with a Cleanflow electronic air cleaner being available as an option.

Needed a very old Johnson & Starley gas warm air boiler upgraded. Called Kent Heating who was recommended by J&S and they came to give a quote quickly, we booked in the work and all completed on time. Very professional installers, worked quickly and left the area completely clean upon completion. Highly recommend this company!!

Gary and his team replaced an old Johnson & Starley boiler with a more efficient Aquair unit, together with a combi boiler. He even went the extra mile and fitted a shower (at an additional cost), and we finally had an energy efficient system operational after 1.5 days of work. He and his team (which included in unfailingly polite and courteous son), were on time, and completed the work to the highest standard and our utter satisfaction. There was initially some issues in ordering some parts, but Gary has kept us in the loop, and he prioritised our work once he received the missing parts. I will

We needed to update our extremely old Johnson & Starley heating and hot water system. Kent Heating Ltd was recommended to us by a British Gas Engineer. Gary from Kent Heating Ltd came and gave us his advice and quoted for the services that he could offer. There was no hard sell, no chasing us after we received the quotes, we were given the time to weigh up the right option for us which was brilliant.
We were happy with the quote to fully upgrade the system to a new Johnson & Starley combi boiler and Johnson & Starley Aquair unit.
We arranged a date that was perfect and wonderfully quick.

AVOID Rude, aggressive and unreliable.
We got a quote from a man named Gary to replace our warm air heating. We we were happy with the quote and went ahead and set a date. We have a vulnerable person in the house so we did need the work done before the weather got cold but they were very busy so they said we'd have to wait a while which we had expected and were prepared for.
As the date approached (about a week or so before) my father emailed and WhatsApp messaged Gary to confirm the date because he needed to sign the contract and firm up details and no-one replied. They turned up on the day

Wow, what a stonking outfit this is, really professional and reliable. They gave me no soft-soap sales pitch, just an honest quote and no pressure, then they came over when they said they would, did the job tidily in two days and came back to sort it when there was a small problem. They replaced my 45-year-old warm air unit with a new Johnson & Starley combi boiler, a real beauty and so efficient. Thanks to the regional manager at J&S for putting me on to Kent Heating Ltd. Unfortunately there is no-one left in Essex who does warm air work.

I needed my warm air vent system serviced and Kent came up trumps. Quick to respond to my request, my system received a thorough service and a new part was needed. Just awaiting on it to be fitted. Kent Heating has been great so far, Connie was v friendly and helpful on the phone, Ryan the engineer answered and allayed any queries I had and Simon called very soon afterwards to discuss works required.
