Services
Originally founded as a single unit at Darcy Lever in Bolton, PPS Commercials has grown tremendously over the decades, and has built up a reputation for manufacturing well-engineered, durable and reliable products. In the very early days, our directors Gary Amos and Steven Whitworth worked as bodybuilders until 1987, when they decided to take on the challenge of opening their very own body shop after spotting a huge gap in the industry.
Our commercial vehicle bodies are designed and manufactured to the highest standards possible. Not just industry standards but our own internal standards, too. And we believe that our customers deserve to be looked after for the lifetime of their vehicle, not just how long it takes us to make it. That's why we offer a number of vehicle aftersales and aftercare services to keep you on the road.
From standard bodies, such as Curtainsiders, Lutons and Dropsides, to the most unique projects, all of our bespoke commercial vehicle bodies are built with pride and expertise that can't be matched anywhere else. Our team of expert craftspeople are what makes us stand out in the commercial body builder industry, with a standard that is unrivalled.
Over the many years we have been working with commercial vehicle bodies, beavertail trucks have become a specialty of ours, and one where we are proud to lead with innovation and expertise. Here at PPS Commercials, we manufacturer, on average, around 80 beavertail trucks and bodies per year, their size ranging massively from 3,500kg all the way up to 32,000kg, and each one is built to withstand the industry's toughest demands.
