It's a non-irritating poisonous gas which can kill quickly by removing the victim's ability to help themselves by starving the body of oxygen. Children, elderly people, pregnant women and people with respiratory problems are particularly at risk from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Although high efficiency boilers require a higher initial investment, they are very economical, and repay the extra initial cost in fuel savings. Boilers are available from all leading boiler manufactures in many different sizes to suit all individual requirements.
We carry out annual servicing on all domestic appliances listed below running on Natural Gas, LPG or Oil. All boiler manufactures recommend an annual service/inspection by a CORGI/OFTEC registered engineer to maintain efficiency, reliability and safety. If you have a new boiler fitted don't forget to get it serviced annually as most manufactures insist on proof of servicing as part of the warranty should your boiler develop a fault.
The principle of heating by warm air circulation is as 'old as the hills' and is undoubtedly one of the most effective methods of heating. This method incorporates a system of ductwork designed to deliver warmed air to all parts of the home from a 'Warm Air Unit' located conveniently somewhere within the property.
Gas safety checks must be carried out by CORGI gas installers. CORGI (the Council for Registered Gas Installers) is the national watchdog for gas safety in the UK. You should get a gas safety check carried out at least once a year. If you are a tenant, it's your landlord's responsibility to arrange this (see 'what responsibilities does my landlord have' below).
