We reveal the natural features of the building without risking damage to the surface itself. Chemical Cleaning - various kinds of chemical systems used to remove paint, grime and general soiling. Cleanfilm - brush on / spray on paste that sets to a rubberised finish and poultice to draw out the dirt (internal use).
Suffolk Brick & Stone employ a qualified Health & Safety Advisor who produces all the up to date, required documentation and control systems to ensure all our work is carried out in a safe manner without endangering our operatives, or other members of the public and surrounding areas. Weathering and exposure to harsh elements can deteriorate masonry surfaces. Suffolk Brick & Stone use traditional methods to replace brick, stone and masonry on building facades, walls, windows etc. or repair cracks to match in with the existing lime mortar. We can also organise for specialist stone masonry to be carried out on highly detailed or ornate structures.
This complete cleaning system uses a mixture of low pressure air, a little water and a safe inert fine aggregate such as calcium carbonate. The TORC head has many separate sections which results in a gentle swirling vortex and by using interchangeable nozzles, can be used on very large areas or more intricate, finer details of brick or stonework surfaces.
