Had the dining room and kitchen wall removed so needed extra kitchen units and new worktops throughout. We needed two quotes for different price worktops (units were same on both quotes). Paid for the units and went home to work out the budget for the worktop. We decided to go with the dearer Worktop and went to pay the remaining amount of the quote to be told it would be nearly £400 extra on top of the price they agreed in the quote No reason was given just they made a mistake. We had already paid half of the quote (a quote is a binding contract that we engaged in). My wife was really upset and
