For the ultimate in security, all Protech windows and doors can be internally glazed so that the glass cannot be removed from outside. All of our extensive product range are double glazed with Techseal hermetically sealed double glazing units using Pilkington glass as standard, but single glazing is available.

Our Secondary Glazing System has excellent thermal insulation. Harmful effects of ultra violet radiation can also be reduced whilst letting in solar heat.
Guidance for building regulations applying to windows, doors, roof lights and roof windows. The openable area of a window with a hinge or pivot that opens 30 or more should be equivalent to a minimum of 5% of the floor area of the room. For a hinged or pivot window that opens between 15 and 30 the opening part should be at least 10% of the floor area of the room.
