Shaun lead the Norman & Underwood team that won the NFRC 2015 award in the 'Fully Supported Metal Roofing' category. The project submitted was the traditional renewing of the copper cladding on the dome of Northumberland Observatory, Cambridge University, a building dating back to the 1830's. We are proud to have worked with many of the nations leading organisations committed to maintaining and restoring the heritage of Great Britain.

Organisation such as English Heritage & The Churches Conservation Trust. The Pitched Roofing Awards celebrate the achievements of the very best projects and people in the pitched roofing industry. It shines a light on the complex workmanship and high-quality products involved on the individual projects. We have been shortlisted for the category 'Best use of a Hard Metals Roof' with our Harborne Observatory dome roof.

Natural Zinc is available as well as pre-weathered zinc - it comes in coils, sheets, strips and is profiled into panels /trims to suit each contract, gutters hoppers and accessories are also available. Shaun has recently installed zinc cladding and zinc roof capping to our new rear kitchen extension. I am absolutely thrilled with the finished look, which has exceeded all my expectations. The project has really given the 'wow' factor we were looking for and Shaun and Taylor worked tirelessly to get the job done. Excellent standard of workmanship and I would have no hesitation in recommending Prestige Metal Roofing to family and friends. Shaun was also extremely helpful prior to installation when my builder needed advice on the prepping for the cladding. A* from me!!

Shaun and his team have gone above and beyond our expectations. Our contemporary Zinc roof was extremely complicated and Shaun was always available for technical advise prior to installation and the team that installed the Zinc were polite, helpful and just got on quietly without any fuss. What we thought would be the biggest headache of the build, (with it being a curved and tapered roof ), turned out to be the smoothest. The price was extremely competitive and it was our lucky day the day we came across prestige metal roofing. Cannot rate them highly enough.

Have a problem with a Zinc roof. I paid £30,000. There is several problems with the roof and Shaun will not fix saying he just fits the roof to VM Zinc spec. He does not fix other issues such as cladding coming away. He did not stop water from dorma making a noise which was discussed in emails before the job was given to him. His response was its not on the quote. He now is not returning calls to com and fix the problems. I think he hopes it will just go away.
DO NOT USE SHAUN unless you dont want any service after paying him lots of money.
