Services
Countryside Tree and Garden Services are one of the regions premier tree care companies. Led by our managing director Andrew Davies (TechArborA) an ISA certified arborist, we constantly strive to improve our level of service. Our base of operation is in Stratford St Mary just outside of Colchester, Essex.
Tree removal can be carried out in many different ways. We can fell your tree by straight felling if there is adequate space. Often we can use mechanical advantage through means of winches or pulling ropes to assist when trees aren't leaning in the right direction. For felling trees where space is limited, for example in smaller back gardens with valuable targets (greenhouses, sheds, shrubs etc), dismantling is carried out in stages.
At Countryside Tree and Garden Services we carry out stump grinding in Colchester and the surrounding towns and villages throughout Essex and Suffolk. Our team of qualified tree surgeons can carry out one off stump grinding or as an additional service when we carry out tree removals. Stump removal allows the area where the tree once stood to be re-purposed, whether it be a new patio or laying fresh turf.
Keeping a hedge healthy and looking tidy requires regular trimming at varying times of the year. When and how depends on species and size of hedge. Maintaining your hedges will mean they remain in the shape and area you want them to. For a real tidy crisp finish, some hedging varieties benefit from 2 trims a year, whilst slower growing hedges such as Yew can be kept under control with 1 annual trim.
