Randall & Daniels Electrical Ltd was established in 1959 to provide electrical and instrumentation engineering and contracting services to the local industrial process industries in South Wales, including oil refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants.
60 years on, whilst we continue to provide ongoing support to our valued clients with existing market sectors we have expanded our client base to include a variety of process industries including power generation, pharmaceuticals, gas storage and transmission, automotive, fine chemicals, iron and steel, onshore and offshore process equipment skid manufacturers.
A significant part of our business is the design, supply and installation of electrical trace heating systems, where we have developed a close working partnership with nVent RAYCHEM as an approved system designer, installer and distributor.R&D undertake electrical and instrumentation installation work throughout the UK and have significant experience in hazardous area process plant installations with systems installed by CompEx qualified staff.

Services
These inspections can be either "Initial", "Detailed", Close" or "visual", depending on the status of the installation or the clients requirements. The inspections are undertaken by CompEx qualified staff in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60079. This qualification enables our company to undertake the installation and inspection of electrical and instrument equipment in the UK (UKCA), Europe (ATEX) and worldwide (IECEx).
