We are specialists in oil and gas fired heating systems carrying a wide selection of spares on the vans. We also carry out gas work and basic plumbing repairs, like replacing float valves, new cylinders, replacement radiators etc. I called as I had an oil leak from my boiler. Safety and to check for carbon monoxide. Regular servicing will also increase efficiency, reduce emissions and ensure safe operation of your boiler. Have you checked the level of oil in your tank? Have you tried pressing your lockout reset button (you can do this a couple of times)? This is usually due to air trapped at the top of the radiator.

I have booked an engineer to look at 2 specific problems: reduce temperature of the hot water and look at 2 radiators in a room that weren't working. The engineer serviced the boiler that was not part of what we requested, confirmed that it wasn't possible to change temperature of the hot water and after 2 hours troubleshooting he was unable to solve the issue on the 2 radiators. In addition the engineer didn't provide a service report that should be available in cases as such (e.g. OFTEC certificate). In addition I called the boiler manufacturer (Grant) and I was able to reduce the hot water temperature
