Self brings together Self Architects and White Design into one new, dynamic, commercially-minded Architecture and Interior Design practice, based in London and Sheffield. Self was appointed to design the Pointing Dog Clubhouse in Sheffield, the flagship venue in the Pointing Dog brand. Self was appointed by The Mansion Group to design student living accommodation in Newcastle.
The newly constructed department store is House of Fraser's first store at an out-of-town retail and leisure complex. It's also their first sustainable store, as every aspect of its architecture and interior is designed to connect with its beautiful natural setting. Self was appointed to provide interior design services for a purpose built student accommodation block in Leeds.
Self was commissioned to develop design proposals for a large 'Later Living' development in South Normanton, Derbyshire. Self Architects has just received planning approval to another development for Priority Space in Consett, County Durham.

Self Architects was established 40 years ago and provides Architectural, Interior Design and Masterplanning services to local, national and international organisations. White Design was incorporated into the practice in 2012 to offer a greater breadth of services and sectors. Self subsequently joined Trebbi, to benefit from the wider multidisciplinary consultancy expertise and a shared business support structure.
Self is part of Trebbi, a unique structure of businesses with shared vision, mission and values, that provide Consultancy, Engineering and Design services within the built environment. The Trebbi structure allows each company to focus on its individual cutting-edge expertise, maintaining independence and flexibility, whilst benefiting from a shared business support infrastructure.
Self is committed to investing in our staff and many of our colleagues have worked with us for over 10 years. We operate from new, open-plan offices in central London and Sheffield. We have an active social life, with a friendly team of people and we are always looking for talented people to join our teams in both locations.
