We are a family run firm of Building Contractors, established since 1962. We are based close to Swadlincote and we carry out projects throughout the Midlands. We have an extensive portfolio of work in the Residential and Commercial sectors and are experienced in liaising with clients, architects, chartered surveyors, chartered builders, structural engineers, construction agents, sub-contractors and planning and building control officers.

J A Davis building Contractors has extensive experience in all aspects of residential building including; change of use projects such as the conversion of a Public House to a Luxury Dwelling(s). The construction of new-build residential complexes, refurbishment and renovation projects and we have also worked on several listed buildings.

Showcase Report

We added modern comforts to this property including underfloor heating, but retained many 18th century original features like wooden beams and fireplaces. This project involved the demolition of a bungalow and the construction of 2 x New 3 bedroom Detached Dwellings and a New 4 bedroom detached. This project involved an extension to the main dwelling and the construction of a seperate annex with a garage/workshop.
