Services
Every stage of a project requires different input. From the initial survey through to finishing work on site NOA can arrange or provide all necessary to successfully complete the project. NOA provides a flexible range of services, allowing the client as much or as little management and control of the project as they are comfortable with.
This existing victorian terraced house, in the borough of Islington near Finsbury Park, was originally 2 separate dwellings with poor lighting, poor circulation and unsatisfactory access to the garden. The brief was to create a light, spacious home for a couple with an teenage child, with a side extension that provided sufficient width for an island and a dining table, allowing the kitchen to function as a social space.
This existing victorian terraced house, in the borough of Hackney near Clissold Park, was originally a cold, dark and uninsulated store room. It blocked all access to the rear garden and had poor natural daylight. The brief was to create a light, spacious kitchen for a couple with a child, allowing for better access to the rear garden and a space for the client to indulge in their respective love of cooking and gardening.
NOA was appinted as a consultant for the design and construction phase of the refurbishment of this semi detached house in the Darthmouth Park area. As well as a full refurbishment of the house, the brief was to alter the layout to form a new larger kitchen to suit this young family's needs. We also worked on the design of the upstairs new bathroom.
The upper maisonette of this victorian terraced house was refurbished to allow for more living space, by converting one of the 2 bedrooms in a flexible space to suit the young professional client's needs. The layout of the upper floor was redesigned to allow for a maximised used of space by positioning the new kitchen under the eaves and positioning the living spaces near the large rear window that gets the best views onto the back gardens below.
