Dickson FitzGerald Architects is a design practice focused on producing contemporary architectural works of quality. Founded in 2013 by John FitzGerald the practice has grown steadily and now has projects in London, Glasgow and Belfast in a variety of commercial sectors.
The scope of projects has broadened considerably to include master planning, landscape design, urban design, exhibition design, interpretative planning, furniture and interior design - all pursued within the parameters of larger environmental and social concerns.During my 25 years of architectural practice I have worked in London, Edinburgh and Dublin before returning to Belfast in 1999.
I have been responsible for a number of high profile and award winning architectural projects including The Irish Linen Centre, Galway County Council Offices, The New Bar Library and more recently The Arc, a 457 unit apartment home complex in Titanic Quarter. During my career I have developed specialism's in Masterplanning, Residential, Commercial and Leisure and Culture.

Situated in the heart of Belfast's entertainment district Filthy McNasty's is a interconnected series of pubs, cocktail bars and clubs that caters for a variety of customers. Situated in the heart of the LGBT quarter BoomBox is a bar/nightclub that holds no punches. Located in the newly masterplanned Sirocco Works site the new Arena has been designed as a moden sports complex with connections to the city and the local communities.
Squeezed into a garden site between two victorian houses this house has been designed to minimise its impact on the surrounding historic neighbourhood whilst providing its owner with a comtemporary new home. Located between the St Enoch's centre and the river Clyde this purpose built student accomodation block will house 36 individual studio aprtments.
