We think about buildings differently. Not just how they look and function - but the positive experiences they create for their people and communities, and how they can benefit the environments around them. ADP has been shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year and Schools Project of the Year, for the Swan School in Oxford.

Our homes and communities need to work harder to respond to changes in the environment and lifestyles and to deliver sustainable communities. The last year and a half has been a rollercoaster for everyone - but some of the most damaging social and psychological effects have been felt by children.Universal challenges like social distancing, masks and lockdown hit particularly hard for younger people who are still developing, learning social skills and a sense of identity that will benefit them in later life.
Services
ADP is an employee-owned architect practice, founded more than 50 years ago. We now work from nine locations across the UK, Cyprus and India to create spaces that are inspired by people. We believe that good architecture has the power to make the world a more positive place - for people, communities and the environment.
We are an international team, working from nine different locations across the UK, Cyprus and India. But we are also one team, combining experience and flexibility. Sector and skill experts are matched to each project across the practice, so that every project can be delivered efficiently and by the right team.
What makes good architecture? We believe that it starts with understanding a place: the people who use it, its context, and its purpose. Only by fully understanding places can we create sustainable communities which thrive. We create buildings which inspire people, enriching their quality of life.
Our interior designs give people a sense of belonging, and give places their own identity. We start by understanding how someone will use a building. We think about how they might navigate and connect with spaces, what their aspirations are, and how design and aesthetics can improve their wellbeing.
They connect people to the outside, affecting how they feel and interact. From healing gardens to outdoor learning spaces, landscapes play a key role in promoting wellbeing and engagement. We work with local communities, creating places that encourage activity and stimulate the senses. Places which are accessible and inclusive.
