Rooney Stone is a family business set in the heart of the Mourne Mountains in Ireland. My family have been in the stonemasonry business for over a hundred and twenty years, and are renowned for the superior quality and craftsmanship of our family stonemasons down through the years. My uncle, James Rooney, was commissioned to undertake the construction of the JFK Memorial in Co Wexford, Ireland.
Here i have provided a full history of a project to replace the entire spire section of a large church in Belfast. This story describes in detail the processes involved in restoring the church to its former glory. One such building was a church in Belfast. Gusts of up to 80mph shook the tower of the church and resulted in part of the spire collapsing.
