Roofs treated with this system have lasted well past the ten year date and can be re-treated when they start to fail. Single ply roofing uses a synthetic membrane with an integral underlay backing which is glued to either the existing roof or to the roof board on a new build.
Hot air is used to weld all seams in the main roof sheet and to add flashing material and trims etc. at the roof edges. The single ply material forms an ideal base for a green roof with sedum mats in a water retaining growing medium installed on top of the single ply.
