Blackstone Architects pursues a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to deliver the highest quality of design to all our various strands of work. Blackstone Architects offer a free initial site visit and would be happy to discuss the viability of your project. We specialise in the Residential (extensions, loft conversions & bespoke one-off houses) and Community & Education sectors.

We also have experience in the commercial, industrial and mixed use sectors. Our team has extensive experience in all of the RIBA work stages and we are able to provide services from stages A to L.

We offer a cost-effective means to ensure that any project, from small residential extensions to large scale community institutions, can benefit from cost-effective and critically analytical design expertise that responds first and foremost to our client's needs.Blackstone Architects have extensive on site and tender experience allowing our design solutions to be realised successfully with contractors and sub-contractors alike.
Services
Blackstone Architects are a young architectural practice. We are preparing a student design competition with a school of architecture to design a new school in Crawley, West Sussex. We would like the entrants to consider issues of Education, Architecture, integration and their relevance to a thriving multi-cultural community.
Saquab is the founding director of Blackstone Architects. He trained as an architect at the University of Liverpool, where he completed his BA, BArch and RIBA part III within the minimum seven years. Consequently, he has over 10 years experience as a chartered architect and has been lead architect on many projects valuing up to 10 million.
Blackstone Architects provide full architectural services in all RIBA stages A to L. We also provide a partial service, listed below, to deliver a professional service through Planning Applications, Building Control Applications, Tender and on-site contract administration & project managing.
Project History: Blackstone Architects were commissioned to enlarge the existing bungalow consisting of a dormer tired in appearance, out of character and providing limited and tight accommodation. The project has posed many challenges to produce a design that balances the clients accommodation needs whilst respecting the moated site and Area of Special Environmental Quality context.
Project History: Detailed feasibility study appraising existing planning consent and community needs, resulting with a re-design and new planning submission. Following full working drawings and tender, a temporary site office was established to successfully execute the project within budget.
