I provide planning & building regulation drawings to clients, builders and other designers due to my in depth technical knowledge of construction detailing/techniques. Although my skills extend beyond this my core work provides this service - I also provide concept/feasibility studies, 3d visualisations & full tendering packages.
I restrict my client base mainly to private individuals and trusted known consultants, this way I can ensure each client gets the optimum service and i deliver a fantastic product on time and within budget.

A "Yorkshire Lad" born and bred I moved down to London after graduating with a first class honours degree in architectural technology to chase my ambition of working for the biggest and best architectural practices. After finishing my final year presentation at university I was selected to go to Richard Rogers Partnership for an interview to start my career off with a bang.
A very simple addition to the existing property was a monopitched single storey extension to provide the family with more living space. The new extension accommodates the new kitchen diner, new utility room, whilst the existing ground floor of the property is now occupied by a games room/den where the existing kitchen was, and a larger lounge that opens up onto the new dining area.
Designing something for yourself is always hard. This is due to the fact you can get carried away with ideas, knowing that you can change it back if you dont like it, its as though the canvas never dries. However it gives way to a lot of varied ideas and options, a little like brainstorming. Our house is a 1970s brick built solid property, which we have modernised since moving in.
Light was a key player in this scheme. The proposal extends the existing property both to the side, towards the boundary and also to the rear with a single storey open plan kitchen - dining area that opens up onto the garden. The existing ground floor was very small with a dining room that was more like a passage way through to the kitchen and downstairs toilet.

We noticed Plan / It sign boards around all the local villages so decided to arrange a meeting with Paul. We were very pleased with the out come, Paul was very polite he listened to our ideas. Paul then went through with his thoughts and experience of what the planners would let us build. We are glad to say everything went smoothly and we achieved full planning.

He’s great fun, comes up with brilliant (and money saving) ideas and mediates between spouses as they debate.
He interpreted my, frankly, childlike scribbles into clear plans that completely met our vision. He patiently made alterations each time we asked, with no question or complaint.
He worked so quickly. The turn around was amazing, particularly given just how busy we know he is. His signs are everywhere locally, and they deserve to be!
We would (and have) recommended Paul to anyone who is planning on extending or altering

We used Paul for the drawings to our extension. He was very efficient at surveying our property and designing our extension with all our needs in mind. Paul took it all seamlessly through planning and building regs.The drawings are excellent and detailed and our builders commented on how good and informative they were. Paul was extremely helpful throughout the initial stages of planning our extension through to building regs drawings. I found him to be very knowledgable, available to answer queries and very quick to come back to me with the information I was after. The quality of his work has been great and our builder seems very happy with the plans. I would definitely recommend Plan it.

We used Plan | it to design and obtain planning permission for some extension and alteration works and would highly recommend their services. Paul carried out a very thorough initial survey of the property and was able to guide and advise us in a professional and practical manner to agree an acceptable design which was achievable within our budget. The planning process and actual build went smoothly and Paul was always on hand for any design questions that arose along the way. A thoroughly deserved five stars.

I would certainly recommend Paul. He was thoroughly professional and I like the fact he came up with good ideas which ultimately saved us money, without compromising the quality or look of our extension.
Communication was excellent - very speedy and kept us informed throughout all steps. We had a slight misunderstanding when it came to final sign off, but this was more down to our lack of understanding of the process so no gripes there.
We didn’t use any of Paul’s builders in the end, but only as we had a solid recommendation from a trusted friend. I would have no doubt Paul’s contacts
