I employed Michael Lapworth Architects to prepare Land registry compliant plans in relation to a dispute I have with the council.
Michael attended my house and prepared detailed plans which were used by my solicitors as part of a public enquiry.
The service was quick and efficient. The fee was very reasonable and I would have no hesitation in recommending Lapworth Architects to colleagues and friends.

I was recommended to Manraj from Lapworth Architects in 2016 after our application to build a new house was recommended for refusal. The initial plans we submitted was for a 4 bedroom house and Manraj managed to get a 5 bedroom 3 storey house approved.
Due to personal reasons we couldn't start the work and the permission expired. I contacted Lapworth Architects again earlier this year and they made some changes that we requested and got the plans approved again. The whole team is great to deal with. I have no problem in recommending them to friends and family.

A one star from me due to not being able to get a proper response. Called above company and my details were taken and passed on to Michael. He asked for a video/photos of my future project but since receiving them completely lost interest. When I prompted him he asked to arrange a visit but never actually visited the property or returned a call back. Felt I was considered not important enough for this firm. I shall take my business elsewhere.

Lapworth Architects designed a substantial extension to my kitchen, and a new-build laundry, WC and garden store. The design was excellent and in keeping with my Victorian house. Throughout the work there was careful attention to detail e.g. matching bricks to existing and window design in keeping with the property.
One of the most impressive aspects of Lapworth was the quick response to any query raised. Phone calls and emails were always answered promptly. Michael was very hands on when needed and adopted a problem-solving approach, in particular when negotiating with the planning authorities
