Services
At Medina Joinery we supply a complete range of high performance timber windows. All our bespoke wooden windows can be supplied fully finished to include all ironmongery, weather seals and glazing. Medina Joinery can offer low profile double glazed units that will comply with the latest building regulations, but offer a slim profile in keeping with a traditional look.
Flush casement windows have the openers closing into the frame for a traditional cottage style. These benefit from modern friction hinges and multi point locking within the frame design, along with weatherproof gaskets. We offer a range of ironmongery to enhance the traditional look, or for a more modern feel.
Storm Windows are a traditional window design. They incorporate a rebated opener which lips over the face of the frame. We can supply either an Ovolo or 20° Splay detail to the frame and casement. Within the frame the openers are hung on modern friction stays, with multipoint locking, weatherproof gaskets, and can be fitted with double glazed units.
All our timber doors are manufactured in our own workshop so we can supply any bespoke doors you require. We strongly recommend purchasing our wooden doors in Accoya but we will also supply them in other timbers if required. We would also suggest having them supplied fully finished. This includes being painted, stained or oiled and doubled glazed, complete with ironmongery and weather seals.

Excellent product (5 stars), good price (4 stars).... sadly dreadful installation service (1 star); hence my 3 star review.
The windows and doors were poorly implemented, unpainted areas (top and bottom of doors), locks incorrectly installed, minor paint chips, missing fixing screws and a total disregard towards the client (me) and my property.
Awful attitude, foul language, finger pointing, I can go on. The windows and doors arrived late, not even an apology, which put the remaining build behind schedule. The font door didn't even make it.
Upon arrival of the subsequent snagging visit they

Our windows and roof light came with many of the wrong specifications. Despite this we were met with an attitude that it doesn’t matter (they agreed that the items didn’t conform though!) and an overt threat to ruin our schedule if we sought things to be rectified. More and more problems have emerged. Water is coming in through the bifold doors. Most recently it has become apparent that what was meant to be aluminium coping is wood and after 6 months the paint is coming away.
We understand from the installer that the other installation they did for this company was also plagued with mistakes

I am a London based contractor and my clients demand the very best in the quality of products and service. James and his team always exceed this expectation with top quality joinery supplied at a competitive price and always on time. I will continue to use Medina Joinery for all of my future projects and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody thinking of getting new doors, windows or roof lanterns for any sized project.

Ordered self cleaning glass on a roof lantern and was supplied with ordinary glass. When I complained that my glass was dirty, I was I was repeatedly assured it was self-cleaning glass and that whether my glass was cleaning itself or not was all "subjective". After repeatedly failing to be provided with evidence that I had been supplied with self cleaning glass, I I invested in an E-glass detector which confirmed it was ordinary glass. It still took considerable effort to be reimbursed. after that.

As a builder myself, I have in the past used many suppliers of joinery with varying degrees of satisfaction. I have to say that the service I have been provided with by Medina Joinery has been first class. Timescales have been met and the finish of the product itself is excellent. I have had no call backs on any of the joinery supplied by James and his team. I will continue to use Medina and highly recommend them.
