We complete all kinds of building and roofing work predominantly in the Eastbourne, Seaford and Lewes, with project values from as little as 1,000.
CRB Building & Roofing was founded in 1979 by Malcolm Clear. When Malcolm found he could not afford to pay a roofer to replace his own failing roof in Hurst Road, Eastbourne, he researched roofing and found that council grants were available for re-roofing projects. As a result, he decided to complete the roof himself.
To deliver high-quality construction projects to the local community in a professional and friendly manner. Values are not just words or slogans for CRB. Our core values are carried with us into every work site and guide every decision. Every member of staff has to show commitment to these values in order to succeed in the company.
Ben has spent his whole life on and around building works. For much of his childhood, he lived 'on site' as his father Malcolm completed a lifelong ambition restoring a Sussex cottage which became the family home. After finishing school, Ben went away to university and achieved a first-class honours BA degree.
Different builders refer to their prices by different names. This can be confusing for clients, as each name carries its own connotations and has its own particular meaning. This is by far the most common name given by builders to their pricing. Advice given to builders by trading standards indicates that calling a price an "estimate" is best for both client and builder.
