Houtman Roofing was founded by Maurice Houtman (my father) and has been operating in and around St. Albans since 1963. I have worked in the business for over 25 years and took it over when my Dad retired. Our professional reputation is everything and we still get the vast majority of our work via recommendations.
Since 1980 we have been a local authority approved contractor and have carried out a considerable amount of grant work for companies such as the Anchor Trust. We are fully insured and all our work is guaranteed for 10 years and carried out according to manufacturers specifications. We are not general builders we are roofing specialists and we carry out roof repairs, overhauls and complete new roofs both for tiled and flat roofs.

Over the years we have worked on just about every type of roof from pitched roofs on listed buildings utilising hand made peg tiles through to the very latest builds using modern high performance materials. We have completed literally thousands of new roofs in the St. Albans area and many many more repairs.
