Whilst GPLs core business is centred on the installation of composite panel systems, particularly in the food production market, GPL have adopted a 'Can do approach' to a variety of related disciplines and have extended the range of usage of composite panel systems to include firewall, partitioning to help customers meet fire regulations, clean rooms for the pharmaceutical industry, Internet server rooms, controlled atmosphere stores and farm produce buildings.
GPL also provide a complete design and build service from Feasibility study to hand over and incorporating mechanical and electrical services, refrigeration, ventilation, drainage and specialist floors.Being independent of manufactures yet enjoying a close relationship with the major suppliers we are well placed to select the best materials for individual contracts without being tied to a product range.

Services
Health and Safety standards are of prime importance. Our policies are reviewed regularly to encourage continuous improvements. Training is an on-going process and is monitored frequently to make sure that all staff and professionals who work with us are qualified to industry standards. GPL employ the services of Britannia Safety Training as consultants.

Below we have listed the types of qualifications we require. As above, however all sub-contractors have to prove competence.
GPL Construction specialises in the design and construction of cold stores, chill stores and food production units with particular emphasis on the supply and installation of insulated panel and door systems. We are looking for a Site Engineer, who will work as part of a small team carrying out installation duties on sites around the UK.
To create the new food processing area in 2018, GPL installed full height, 60-minute fire rated, 125mm thick, Fire master Wall Extra, hygienic panels. These were supplied by Eurobond Laminates Ltd. The panels were installed from the existing concrete floor to the underside of the roof to provide separation between the food processing areas and the storage areas.
We recently used GPL for what was for a us, the largest construction project we had ever undertaken. We are very satisfied with the support and advise GPL provided us with throughout the design and construction phases. The finished project was completed by GPL to a very high standard, and we would happily endorse their services to anyone taking on a similar construction project.
