Throughout the design and concept stage, CAD drawings were provided that accurately displayed the final layout; these together with James's advice and guidance allowed us to quickly finalise a design that evolved into a highly effective and attractive working kitchen.James's technical and craftsmanship skills are exemplary; the final result was a perfectly finished installation of the very highest quality.

James began his career in cabinet making in 1998 when he joined deVOL Kitchens to complete his 3 year apprenticeship in hand-crafted furniture. Once complete, James stayed on as part of the main production team for a further 6 years, becoming a craftsman of exceptional quality whose work featured in 25 Most Beautiful Kitchens as well as Grand Designs.
Our initial step is to meet you at your home where we will discuss the ideas you have for your furniture. We will then guide you through the design process, establishing all elements such as whether you would like a fitted or freestanding kitchen, and in a contemporary or traditional style. At this stage we will also take measurements and photographs to ensure that we have a clear idea of the available space.
A traditional but modern take on a shaker-style kitchen. Working with the customer's brief, we wanted to do our upmost to incorporate everything that they wished for whilst making sure that there was no compromise on the overall design and practicality of the furniture. We wanted to create different zones within the kitchen to compartmentalise this extensive space whilst subtly linking it together through the overall design.
A slimline design to open up this space whilst disguising modern appliances behind traditional style cabinets.
