I wanted to email to follow up after the fitting of the secondary glazing that was recently installed in our house. I am very impressed with the effect it has had on the noise reduction and heat loss we have struggled with. They look great and blend in very well with the historic sash windows. I was also very impressed with the expert you sent to fit the windows too.

We are rather shocked with our poor experience with Philip Whear. Having waited months longer than told for the install the conservatory was measured 9cm short. This was only discovered after removing our old conservatory leaving us with an exposed wall and sockets etc. Not once did we get an apology. Management was extremely defensive and lacking in customer communication skills. Rather than wait another few months for the conservatory to be remade we opted to have the add ons. This meant that walls had to be cut down to accommodate. It was only when we attempted to put skirting boards on that

Well, what to say. Fully appreciate that there is a pandemic going on and that the home improvement sector is very busy but.... Contacted the firm in early January this year. A surveyor, Guy, called round on 21st Jan, we had plans allready drawn up and the conservatory design was very simple, shared these with the survyor who said would get back to us with a quote. Last email from him was on 12th Feb advising hoped to get back the following week with a quote. And so we wait. Have chased up a few times, no one gets back. Seems there is a failure in the basics of customer service, to not reply at

If its a top quality product you are looking for then Philp Whear in Redruth West Cornwall certainly fits the bill. They not only have a stylish showroom displaying a number of their conservatory ranges, they actually manufacture the products on site and were able to offer a viewing area where I could see the frames, windows and doors being made. All ijn all a very professional outfit from survey to installation and as the company has been around for a very long time the warranty is genuine too!
