JJ Renovations is run by John Daborn, an established builder of over 30 years. The JJ Renovations team is made up of select craftsmen who have specialised in high quality building and renovation of period properties for many years. The team has all the skills necessary to complete the building project from start to finish - from initial foundations, brickwork and roofing to plumbing, electrics and plastering.
We undertake residential and commercial building projects for period properties. In addition we have wide experience in the detail of building and renovating listed buildings and properties situated in conservation areas. All of our work is guaranteed, from buildings to plumbing and electrical works.

JJ has just finished a 6 week renovation, redecoration of our house. Can't speak highly enough of this local tradesman and his small but very hard working, honest, professional and experienced team. JJ will answer your calls and emails (many don't these days!), clearly explain timelines, cost and possible problems. His team always turned up on time, worked at the weekend when necessary, and never left until the area was cleaned up and left in the best condtion possible. An enthusiastic tradesman and project manager all his team take great pride in their work. The biggest compliment we can give

JJ Building & Renovation did an amazing job! They were extremely competent and professional. My basement excavation was a really complex job especially to obtain a building license for a habitable room. The job involved labor intensive removal of substrate materials manually handled out through confined, small tight spaces. The room is now complete and finished to such a high standard. Based on this job I later contracted them for a large loft conversion. From structural support work to final fit and finish they did an amazing job. The team are polite, clean and tidy in their work, no surprises

After struggling to get anything back from local plasterers I found JJ Building & Renovations - very responsive to my emails. Turned up when they said they were going to (let down before by other companies not turning up to quote). Quote was sent across straight after coming to see our requirements. Turned up on time to start the job, very tidy, polite and friendly. Worked very hard and efficiently and the plastering looks fab. Wasn't the easiest job to do but very pleased. We've now moved on to job 2 and will be using more in the future. Cannot recommend enough.
