The firm is now owned and operated by a further two generations of the Emery family and has been trading for over 70 years, carrying out the majority of our work in Bath and the surrounding areas.The company has slowly expanded over the past 70 plus years, and employs many experienced and skilled craftsmen and tradesmen.
In 2016 we relocated our main offices from Darlington Wharf to Bathford Works where we recently completed the construction of our new office space along with three separate industrial spaces. We carry out all types of building and construction work, from large new build projects to maintenance and repair.

As a natural extension to our building contracting business, we have been involved in a number of developments. This has been as both JV partners with other developers and as a sole developer on our own stock of land and buildings. Here at our office in Bathford Works we operate an in-house joinery facility, undertaking work from the creation of bespoke staircases to the more traditional manufacture of hand crafted sash windows in order to match the existing details of listed buildings. Our joinery shop is run by Andy & Ollie who are both truly time served craftsman.
We carry out a large number of new build projects every year. Our new build projects range from small extensions in order to help domestic clients maximise living space to larger bespoke new build homes for clients who wish to create something truly unique from the ground up. We also occasionally build-out offices for growing companies, recently being commissioned to build the new Send a Cow offices by the Duchy of Cornwall in Newton St. Loe.
We carry out a wide range of refurbishment projects on a regular basis in Bath and the surrounding areas. Our refurbishment work can range from small kitchens and bathrooms to complete townhouses where we often conserve traditional Georgian features whilst installing modern creature comforts such as new heating and smart home systems.
Every year we carry out a number of very interesting restoration projects. These projects range from repair work, ornate joinery and masonry to complete overhauls of historic monuments like Beckford's Tower & Museum in Bath. We maintain close working relationships with a number of specialist architectural practices in order to help conserve and restore ecclesiastical and religious buildings.
