Award winning designers Sarah Naybour and Olivia Stewart work in partnership with all their clients to create unique outdoor spaces. Since 2009 they have been specialising in the design and master planning of large gardens and small urban spaces, both at home and abroad. Their aim is to create elegant gardens which are easy to maintain and a joy to spend time in.
SMALL URBAN GARDEN north oxford The attention to detail in this garden was second to none. We replaced the lawn with a muted palette of white, purple, pink and green planting, with an emphasis on texture. Additional colour and height is created by seasonal bulbs. The split level garden links the main house to a modern garden office.
This year, 2016, I was commissioned by Schellevis to design their trade stand for Chelsea Flower Show. Gardens have historically been places of healing and equally a source of health, happiness and also FOOD! Since the recent surge on loo roll and produce in the supermarket, there has equally been a renewed focus on "grow your own" and self-sufficiency.

We begin with a detailed assessment of the site, a walk around and in-depth consultation to gain a clear understanding of what our clients want to be achieved. From this we establish a clear Design Brief which forms the foundation to every design. For any quality garden design it is essential for us to know the lay of the land so it is quite usual for us to commission a topographical land survey from which to base all our drawings.

Humans have an ingrained natural instinct to forage, gather, till and sow, and it doesn't take a huge push to get us off our seats and going again.
We will indeed enjoy the garden, tt is nice to see it slowly coming to life after the winter. Very pleased with the lay-out, even without the full benefit of matured plants it looks great. Was just admiring the garden when the sun came out and thought it would be nice to share with you how great it all looks.
