Newgate Construction Ltd was established in 1998 by Mike Newcombe to provide a quality management service and build product to the construction industry. Turnover has grown steadily from 500,000 in year 1 to a turnover of 4.5 million in the current financial year. The management team has a wealth of experience, which is demonstrated by the previous projects contained on this website.

Mike Newcombe started off as an apprentice in Painting and Decorating, Mike started his own company in 1976 J & M Decorators, employing 12 members of staff, specializing in the refurbishment of hotels, restaurants, banks, and offices. Turnover has grown steadily from 500,000 in year 1 to a projected turnover of 4-5 million in the current financial year.
Newgate Construction Ltd has obtained a number of accreditations and standards which demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement. Our external Health & Safety advisors are H&G Construction Safety who help us on a daily basis with all aspects of Health & Safety matters including advice, support and inspection and assessments.
This project consisted of full refurbishment of all common areas, including reception, staircases, landing areas, toilets & 4th & 5th floor offices. The constraints of a city centre location & office tenants on 3 floors meant works carried on while remaining offices were occupied, we works very closely with building managers & security to make sure tenants were not disturbed in any way while works were carried out.
