Traditionally trained, Paul Sheridan studied architecture at RMIT in Australia in the 1970s before coming back to the UK, where he graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Interior Design from Nottingham.
Paul worked for a number of London based design and architectural practices including Ezra Attia Associates and HLM, working on prestigious accounts as diverse as IBM and The Piccadilly Hotel in London before setting down roots in East Anglia.Paul spent 20 years as senior architectural and interior designer with Pocknell Studio, an award winning North Essex based multi-disciplinary design practice.
My interest in Architecture started in Melbourne, Australia and I was fortunate to work under the tutelage of a wonderful architect and designer named Graeme Law. He instructed me in drawing and how to present work and above all in how to communicate with clients. I have always enjoyed architectural drawing.

The brief was to refresh, lighten and modernise the interior of this private holiday residence. This new build social kitchen extension was modelled on the vernacular Essex barn style with exposed steel and timber structural elements. The conversion accommodates a large social kitchen which forms the heart of the remodelled farmhouse and single storey outbuildings.
