Greg is a lovely man and very knowledgeable. He's really helped us keep on top of our 1.5 acres of lawn, freeing us to focus on planting & border maintenance. Is moss taking over your grass? We can help you to break the back of invasive moss so that you can get back to a wonderful grassy lawn. Different parts of your garden will be subject to different wear and tear and weather conditions. Choosing the right seed for the job is the solution. Or perhaps you had a mole causing havok.
Our services are based on an hourly rate of around 50. Costs of a particular task vary according to the work involved, but we pride ourselves on being efficient and offering good value for money. Material costs e.g. Turf, fertilisers etc. vary according to season. We have a ride on mower and specialise in gardens with lawn areas between1 and 5 acres.
These can be offered at a great price because we buy in bulk and use better smaller granulated feeds you can't get in garden centre's. The granular feeds dissolve quicker not needing to be watered into the lawn like domestic products. Gives your lawn a boost and gets it through bad conditions whilst maintaining strong roots, colour and growth.
Moss can often be found in lawns where drainage is poor; the soil is compacted and low in nutrients. Treatment and moss removal by lawn scarification will be required in most instances. Moss can be a perennial problem in many lawns. The only way to really eliminate moss from your lawn is to eliminate the conditions conducive to moss growth.
