The architectural practice mha was established in 1991 by chartered architect Michael Herron. The practice is based in Coalisland, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, within the central provincial Mid Ulster Council area. From it's foundation the practice has sought to deliver innovative designs and quality buildings to meet and exceed our clients' expectations.
Having an extensive record of working with both private and public sector clients to deliver a vast range of projects within the UK & Ireland, mha, are experienced in forming and managing bespoke design teams to deliver successful projects on time and to budget.
Our designs originate from thoughtful consideration and understanding of our client's specific needs and requirements, while also carrying out detailed analysis to address wider contextual issues of the project, which include the financial, social and environmental circumstances.Michael trained at the Birmingham School of Architecture in the 1980's and gained his chartership in 1991 whilst working for RMJM, London.

Rosemount Resource Centre: Demolition of existing community centre and replacement with new 2 storey Building. Funded by Department for Communities. Ards Arena Resource Centre: Part demolition of sports hall and refurbishment of external cladding and finishes. Funded by Education Authority NI. (www.eani.org.uk).
