Better Removals carries out thousands of home removals each year, locally, nationally and internationally. We have built a reputation for providing friendly, efficient and professional moving services to relocating individuals, moving individually items through to entire households. Whether you simply require boxes, or require us to pack and move your entire property we are here to help.
We also work with fellow reputable removal companies across the UK and abroad to extend and assist our services. We link up with fellow reputable companies throughout the UK & Ireland to assists with removals when we are booked out or require tran-shipping onto smaller vehicles around the UK. Better Removals & Storage are part of the EMG (Executive Moving Group).
We offer containerised and self storage, and have a store manager to deal with your every need. Removal transit blankets are supplied with all your containers to cover your furniture whilst in our care. Do you need to declutter your house to put it on the market, or just declutter in general?. There are many reasons why people require storage or self storage.
Archive storage is our service which allows you to clear out those documents that you don't need regularly but still have to keep hold of. Better Archive Storage offer archiving and office storage solutions. The documents in office premises in archive boxes, drawers and filing cabinets can be and expensive hidden cost to a business.

Despite chasing and chasing, filling in forms taking photo's and doing everything asked of me, you can't even get a quote from these people and I was recommended by my agent, I don't believe even if we agreed to a quote I would have any faith in them turning up,
Such a shame as I used them to move before, I don't normally leave negative reviews but feel I needed to as they have wasted so much of not only my time but also their own.

We recently used Better Removals to move house. They were brilliant from the very start. They arrived on time and instantly took charge, putting us at ease. I would highly recommend this company for any house moves, I would certainly use them again in the future.

I moved home from Cambridgeshire to Merseyside which was quite daunting. The removal guys turned up on time , knew what they were doing and great. This was during Covid 19 epidemic that made things all the more harder for them.
They were able to move me in a day with no mishaps , no damage to items and properties. I would strongly recommend this company who have been brilliant throughout, thanks to all involved.

Received a quote for a 3 bedroom house removal to a 2 bedroom half a mile away from each other.
No packing or dismantle of items literally just put the stuff on a lorry and take it off the other end, 3 hours work tops.
Bearing in mind 1 of my bedroom's is empty so essentially moving 2 into a 2 charge £1700. Why because it's a peak time! I have worked within the housing market sector for a lot of years and never have I heard of peak times for moving!! Got 3 much better quotes from other reputable firms,who don't look to rip you off because you want to move in September!

Charlie and James were brilliant. They were on time, cracked on and loaded the van by midday. We didn't get the keys until 5pm. When we got to our new home they had about 6 guys in total lugging things from the van to our home. They all worked so hard to get us moved in. I can't fault them. Thank you to the staff who all joined in to help. You made a stressful day seem okay! We would highly recommend.

I must say from the out set that Hertfordshire provides outstanding removers but Better Removals are a cut above the rest. I was removed to Northern Ireland by this company on 20 -22nd October 2020 and I cannot fail to sing the praises of the whole company. The assessor of my removal was very fair, understanding, helpful and willing to answer any question that I put to him, the customer services were always willing to do their part to make the plans as watertight and clear as to what was going to happen on the days of the removal.

I have used Better removals and Pickfords within the last 2 years, although more expensive, Pickford's are worth every additional penny. Better Removals' operatives are not bad guys, however, they do not supply a sufficient amount of labour to efficiently deal with the workload and they therefore rush everything. They caused damage to a tumble dryer, mirror and large chest of drawers, as well as digs and dents in walls, I only claimed for the damaged mirror as it will cost a fair amount to replace, the whole claims process has been long winded, made as difficult as possible, and ultimately I am

A few weeks back I used better removals to move me from Baldock to Manchester. The guys handled the job fantastically and with real professionalism from start to finish. I can really say that they took the burden of stress off my shoulders and despite having a 4 hour journey back after the job was finished didn’t leave until they’d made sure I was totally happy with where everything was. I can not recommend better removals highly enough.
