Our pre-move survey allows us to provide sufficient size vehicles for your move and we can also allocate our specially designed covers to your job to ensure your sofas, tv's, mattresses etc are fully protected before leaving your house. Our vehicles also carry floor coverings so your carpet will not get dirty during the move.

Here at Steve Wood Removals we can provide a full wrap and packing service by using our trained staff. All packing materials will be supplied and your crockery and ornaments will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper by our experienced staff. We can supply portable wardrobe cartons to keep your hanging garments organised and clean.

I would highly recommend this company. Steve, Mike & Jimmy are professional, friendly, helpful & get the job done in a timely manner 🕰
Moving is stressful for most people, but with these guys helping me, it wasn’t as stressful as I thought it could have been.
I had two moving dates.
The first date it didn’t start well & like with most moves problems arise, but Steve & Mike came through for me & in the end it all went to plan.
The second move which was the bigger of the two went to plan, there were no problems, just a lot of hard work!
In both moves they helped me move everything where

Moved the wife's parents from Chingford to Dovercourt today. From the beginning Steve was incredibly accomodating with some last minute uncertainties & changes of plan. Price quoted was cheapest by far and, on the day, the service was punctual, efficient & friendly. Couldn't really fault any of the team that moved the in-laws & would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that wants "big" business quality with "small" business care. Will finish by saying "thank you" for a job well done!!

Over two years ago, after my mother-in-law had died quite suddenly, we needed to clear her house as soon as possible. However, unlike most older people, she had bought a lot of new furniture and white goods in the couple of years before and at that time our adult son was looking for a flat and we were planning an extension. Not living in the area, we did not know any local businesses and I found Steve just by chance, and liked him when we met him - and oh boy, I'm glad we found him! He and his team have been fantastic - they packed up everything for us beautifully and looked after our items in

Steve and his team helped me move house and downsize. They were prompt on the day and nothing was too much trouble. All excess furniture and belongings were placed into storage for a very reasonable fee and then redelivered at a time that suited me.
They were friendly, helpful, hard working and fun.
I have no reservations in recommending them to anyone looking to move house or seek delivery of large items.

Steve rescued us a week out from ‘moving day’ with a competitive and attractive quote; then less than a week later his team came to pack and moved us over two days. The guys were great; really thoughtful and considerate, polite and helpful. It is a stressful time but they really helped make it all go as smoothly as possible - we are really grateful and would definitely recommend.

Cannot rate Steve highly enough, he completed 2 moves for me, one locally and the other into central London.
