I am a landscape designer and planting specialist with RHS recognised qualifications in horticulture and design.

This is a great time for you to start putting together a pinterest board, or saving pictures and clippings of particular plants or garden styles you like. I will take a site survey to establish measurements and levels, along with a series of photographs for reference. For larger or complex sites, a full topographical survey may be required; this will be sub-contracted to a trusted surveyor.

Betsy designed my garden in Kensington Olympia last year and the transformation is just spectacular. We wanted something minimal and contemporary but with lots of planting and a natural, slightly wild feeling. The result is a perfect mixture of all the different elements we asked for, it's not something we ever could have envisioned for ourselves.
We have a real sense of the 'seasonal diversity' now, especially enjoying the tall spiked perennials and silver grasses that change height and reveal the hidden seating areas. The impact on the amount of wildlife we see has been another really rewarding

Betsy has completed a wonderful design, landscaping and planting , to add a feeling of width and continuity to our narrow Clapham garden. The overall design is modern but uses some of the previous planting to retain family favourites but add a nice touch of sophistication. The team undertook the work in difficult conditions last Autumn, looking after our house so well, and we are delighted with the results this year, and look forward to making the most of it over the coming years.

We hired Betsy services on the understanding that she will be not only the designer but also the person in charge of the whole project from A to Z, on that basis we accepted to pay a relatively high fee.
However, Betsy informed us after the design that she will not be available to pursue the project and left us with the actual work.
