The Botanical Gardener was born in 2005 when Chris Warren left the world of Botanical Gardens to create his own company. We have built and maintain a fantastic variety of gardens in every corner of London, from plush roof gardens in Chelsea to leafy sprawling gardens in Hampstead. We take pride in our work and strive for the best results, no matter how small or large the job.
Graduating from Pershore College, Chris has gardened all over the world, from the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta and Chicago, The Holden Arboretum in Ohio to four years as head gardener in The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Returning to England he established The Botanical Gardener in 2005 and now heads up the ever-expanding team of gardeners, designers and landscapers whilst still keeping his hands in the earth.

We can help guide you through the process that results in a garden that is right for you - bringing together all the elements and functionality that you need from the space in the most creative and visually pleasing way.
We are increasing contracts with commercial clients on larger scale planting projects where a thorough knowledge of plants is needed to create innovative and environmentally sustainable public spaces. Our clients are keen to build a partnership with a responsive and enthusiastic team and we enjoy the challenges that working on larger projects bring.
The site you and your team have handed over is the most professional and impressive project he's ever been involved in. He was full of praise for the way in which your team (including the contractor) have conducted themselves throughout the process, but he's particularly impressed with the finished result - I don't think there's even any snagging!

What a transformation our garden has received by the wonderful team at The Botanical Gardener. We went from a garden we hardly used to spending as much time as possible out in the garden. The design was spot on and the gardeners working on site were hard working and dedicated to the end, we can't thank them enough.
