I also make bookbinding equipment for a sole distributor in Scotland. My aim is to give my clients furniture of the highest quality. All of our furniture is made to measure. We do not mass produce anything or carry stock items. I made the actual bar and the storage behind it. The chairs, stools and decorative fittings were supplied by an interior designer.

When I left school, I enrolled in a 2 year full time cabinet making course at the London College of Furniture which I completed at the age of 18 back in the early 1990s. As there were no businesses in our area who had the need for someone with my training, I started Newman Furniture with a lot of help from my father.
