James travelled over two hours to visit our home in Dorset with the 5 rugs I’d requested to see, plus some others. It was raining, but that didn’t put him off carrying everything in and displaying the rugs in situ. We decided on one of the rugs he had thought to bring, not any of the ones I’d requested. Excellent service. We plan to be Returning Customers.

Such a joy to be able to go and look through such a large collection of beautiful and authentic persian and kilim rugs in person; a vastly better experience than searching online. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and what they don't know about rugs probably isn't worth knowing. We decided on an absolutely stunning afghan rug and we got a much welcomed education about where it came from and how it was made (great for being able to talk about it when people mention how much they like it!) It was also a very fair price for such a great piece.

A superb array of hand 'woven' Oriental carpets. Cleaning and repair work also done. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and not at all pushy.
Unlike a souk in Marrakesh or Tangier, where the carpets are sometimes of questionable quality; here the stock is superior and of the finest. Carpets and rugs that have taken months, and in many cases years to make, are here for those of discerning taste.
No, they are not 'cheap' but bargins can be had.
