Sarah of Hampstead Garden Design did an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS job in the design and implementation of my late sister's house in Hampstead, London NW3. This house was the house of the well-known British satirist Peter Cook and the garden as designed by Sarah has been photographed and published in many UK newspapers during the summer and autumn of 2019, including in the weekend version of the Financial Times. I rate Sarah's work as 200 out of a total of 100. And not only the work, Sarah is a lovely and charming lady and a pleasure to work with.

We hired Sarah to design a complete overhaul of our existing gardens and to create and implement a planting plan for the garden. Right from the beginning we felt comfortable with Sarah and she listened carefully to our requirements. She is extremely pleasant to work with. The communications in-between meetings were helpful and very prompt and Sarah kept us well-informed throughout the project, regularly visiting to check on progress and organising the work of the landscapers (having recommended a great individual to fulfil this role) so we didn’t have to do anything but watch the project unfold

The front garden was a shocking sight after our builders churned it up. Sarah talked through what we wanted but didn’t try to force her ideas on us. She came up with a design which incorporated our ideas [no lawn, children’s play space, greenhouse, areas out of sight at first, broad steps] but in an inventive way. She helped us to juggle with the design to get exactly what we wanted, then populated it with imaginative planting,
