The Window Dr started in 1987 with just Phil and two employees. Back then, we did solely installations until one lady asked if we could come and take a look at a potential repair in her home. We said yes and as we were working, she said 'you look just like a doctor!' We liked the name and The Window Dr was born.
We began installing windows back in 1987 and since then, we've developed a reputation for high quality products, efficient installation and faultless customer service. We work with you to decide what styles of windows and doors work with your property, whether that be residential or commercial, and then both source and install them.
A much sought after home improvement, the conservatory is an ever popular build. Our conservatories are entirely bespoke. We design and build conservatories for you - nothing from us is off the peg! We've worked on all kinds of conservatories with all kinds of different designs, but all with high quality in common.
Orangeries are one of the most popular ways to extend your home. They were first constructed back in the 17th century as a room used to protect fruit trees during the colder months, but today they are added to homes across the globe to create some extra living space. It is a salutary lesson to study online reviews before doing business with a company that treats its customers with such contempt.

All departments extremely helpful. I have used the window doctor recently for repairs to both external doors and found then to be very professional, friendly, and very accommodating. They were kind enough to squeeze me in very quickly due to my personal circumstances as I was going into hospital so they made sure the job was done and completed to a very high standard before I went into hospital. The fitter was a great bloke and very polite, friendly, and even cleared up after himself.
