Design Engine Architects
We believe that behind every beginning, no matter how unpromising, there is the potential for quality. Richard Rose-Casemore, Richard Jobson and Rodney Graham founded Design Engine Architects in 2000 with a vision to exceed our clients' expectations by delivering dynamic, award-winning architecture.

Our approach is inspired by intensive research leading to responsible innovation. Our buildings are distinguished by high quality design and technical resolution, not formulas or style. To transform individual knowledge into collective wisdom, our approach is to promote democracy in design.

Through design reviews, project workshops, and our Friday Feedback sessions, we facilitate open discussion that harnesses the energy and enthusiasm of our collaborative team. Our Friday Feedback sessions have been instrumental in shaping the culture of the studio as we gather with wine and share a particular experience that is loosely educational and undoubtedly social.
Services
We design from large scale masterplans to small scale interiors with architecture at the centre. Our projects are designed and delivered by a dedicated team of staff who provide a first class, quality driven service to our clients. The practice has a wealth of experience across a wide range of sectors and we approach every project, large or small, with the same professional and enthusiastic approach.
If you are interested in working at any of our studios, please visit the careers section below. We are always looking for confident and motivated people to join our design-led studios so if you can't find a fit from our job openings below then please still apply speculatively. Design Engine Architects is an award-winning architectural design practice working across all sectors and scales.
Buildings tell stories in many ways, and Design Engine Architects believe that architecture is the art of these stories. Building Stories: Design Engine Architects explores this idea through the work of the practice, giving a fascinating insight into its work and the broader concerns and concepts informing the buildings that shape our world.

Nice place and very nice staff. Enjoyed working with them. Picked a day when it was snowing to drive there.
