Acid rain and pollution can attack the concrete over a number of years and due to the lack of cover over the reinforcing steel, corrosion can cause the concrete to crack, spall and fall away. Surface Solutions can end this problem for you. We can remove all loose and faulty concrete to expose the reinforcements so we can then 'blast clean' the area.
Vacuum Assisted Diamond Grinding is a method of preparing floors and levelling uneven concrete or ashphalt surfaces. Old coatings and adhesive residue can also be removed by this method. Where there is the need to remove large areas of vinyl tiles, carpets or ceramic tiles, using hand held tools is a slow process. With current health and safety legislation regarding hand / arm vibration, using hand held tools for this type of work should be avoided. Surface Solutions have a number of 'ride-on' machines which are a far more effective and safe method of tile removal.
