There are no hidden charges. We believe the best policy is transparency. We don't wish to give you a bill higher than you expect. We mark up the cost of materials that we provide by 20% to cover the time and fuel spent buying the materials. If during the job we discover additional work is required, we will consult with you and agree any additional costs before proceeding.

Really pleased with SCV and their work. We have just moved into our new flat and needed an EICR plus a few other jobs doing. We had a loose wire and subsequent fuse blow/fire at our meter box in the bowels of the building. David was quick to respond and made it easy to facilitate the arrival of Ben to fix the item safely and to ensure everything was safe in the premises and get us back to 100% in this freezing weather. Unfortunately the same could not be said as easily for the building’s management agents who were worried about the ownership of the burnt out electricals after UK Power Networks attended and decided it was not their problem. Will whole heartedly recommend SCV going forward.

I contacted Dave to ask him to fit a new electric hob in my kitchen. He was very responsive on email, and came out to install a few days after my enquiry.
Dave was very professional, and did a really good job and was open and honest about costs. He also left the kitchen clean and tidy after installation. I would definitely recommend Dave and SCV to any family and friends.

I wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend Dave and SCV Electrical to anyone. They have been brilliant and have made what would have been a hugely stressful situation completely manageable. They turned up when they said they would, were incredibly thorough and responsive, completely reliable and also just so nice to deal with! Ric who did the larger job was very patient and explained each part to me and left my flat pretty much spotless!
