Clay Construction began trading in 1996, becoming incorporated one year later in 1997. Almost 20 years later, we have maintained steady growth and have successfully completed many projects in the Commercial, Residential and Industrial Sectors. Key activities include new builds, alterations and refurbishments mainly in the commercial industrial and health care sectors - either under normal contracting conditions or on a design and build basis.
We also undertake larger scale domestic work for selected clients. Our main geographical area of operation is generally within a 50 mile radius of Huddersfield. Naturally, exceptions to this are both welcomed and accommodated for depending upon each clients project requirements. We directly employ all the core trades, and have a regular and reliable pool of sub-contractors for all specialist trades.

Services
As Graham retires, Frank's skills in quantity surveying became in demand and he joins our team. With the acquisition of a joinery workshop based in New Mill, Clay Construction's head office relocates to New Mill near Holmfirth. As Frank takes a step back, Garry Webster joins the team to assist our customers with his skills in Quantity Surveying.

Really impressed with this family run company.
I noticed they don't advertise much except for their fleet of vans with the Clay Construction logo on them but the real secret here is, I knew about them through word of mouth and they did a great job building a brand new extension on my house, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stress free building experience.
It's run by Gary and his son Ben Clay, very impressive service to say to least.
