The Authentic Kitchen Company is a small local company run by Jay and Nicky, a husband and wife team, with over 28 years experience in kitchen design, manufacture and fitting. The Authentic Kitchen Company offer a full project management service, seeing the project through from conception to completion as smoothly as possible.
We offer a professional project management service, taking full responsibility for every stage of the installation process. Every project has a dedicated Installation Manager, so you the client have one point of contact throughout the process. Our team have been working together for eight years now and consistently achieve the highest standards, ensuring your room takes shape exactly as planned.
Arundel is a wonderfully traditional range made in beautiful, specially selected wood. Desirable variations which characterise this timber kitchen are displayed to best effect with the Natural Pippy Oak finish. The simple pared-down look of Barnes showcases the range's quality construction and materials.

Our Kitchen was fitted in October 2020 and we are still delighted with it after 6 Months.
We had three quotes for kitchen installation one of which was from a company we had used previously for a bedroom installation. Authentic had been recommended by a friend who had had their kitchen fitted about a year previously and were really impressed so we invited them to quote.
Jay called to the house measured up and we discussed the design and he provided 2 layouts and quotations. We chose the layout that was best for us compared the costs with the other companies and chose Authentic. Their quotation

Similar to a previous poor review, we too had a totally horrendous experience with the owner and director of this kitchen company, Jay. I have never left a review for anything before, ever, but felt absolutely compelled to do so on this occasion. I have left it just over a week before posting this review as I wanted to see if our reaction was just, and it is.
Our first and second appointments with Jay were fine, we were happy with the kitchen designs as they they looked really good. We arranged a third appointment to finalise the last few details, to pay a deposit and to book in a date for work

Absolutely delighted with our new kitchen from Authentic Kitchens.
We had quite a few quotes from kitchen companies but were impressed with the ideas and positivity from Jay and Nicky during the design / sales process (without any of the hard sell). Jay listened to what we wanted and came up with a good design and an overall price that compared very well with the competition for such a good quality product.
All of the Authentic Kitchens team were excellent craftsmen who obviously had been working together for many years and everything ran smoothly to a well rehearsed plan. We were very impressed

Absolutely horrified by this company's after sales care! They were very pleasant during the sales process, but when we reported a design flaw (opening the fridge door dislodges the adjacent microwave oven door, requiring a visit from a Neff engineer) they showed little interest in resolving the issue. When we chased them, Jay (the director) came to our house and was very aggressive, basically calling my wife and I stupid!
Whether we agree or disagree about the stupidity(!) of opening a fridge and microwave oven door simultaneously (in a busy family home) - this behaviour is completely unacceptable
